Sterlite Industries (India) Limited, the operating company of Vedanta in copper business in India is the first private sector company to set up a copper smelter and refinery in India and operates one of the largest continuous cast copper rod plant. Sterlite's copper operation include a 400,000 tonnes per annum smelter, refinery, sulphuric and phosphoric acid plants and copper rod plant at Tuticorin in Southern India, a refinery and two copper rod plants at Silvassa in Western India, and a 100% owned subsidiary cooper mine in Australia.
With this backdrop, Vedanta would like to invite candidature for the post of Manager / Associate Manager Refractory for its copper plant at Tuticorin (Kerala).
ELIGIBILITY | Requirements
=> Preferably Graduate in Ceramic Engineering or an equivalent degree.
=> Should have a minimum of 4-6 years of experience in designing and application of refractory in ferrous or non-ferrous industry
=> Self-directed, team player with sound negotiation and problem solving skills.
=> Strong quantitative, analytical and Process Redesign skills.
Best compensation package in the industry (negotiable).
